One Sunday in a Midwest city a young child was "acting up" during
the morning worship hour. The parents did their best to maintain
some sense of order in the pew but were losing the battle. Finally
the father picked the little fellow up and walked sternly up the
aisle on his way out. Just before reaching the safety of the
foyer the little one called loudly to the congregation,
"Pray for me! Pray for me!"
A daddy was listening to his child say his prayer "Dear Harold".
At this, dad interrupted and said, "Wait a minute, How come you
called God, "Harold"? The little boy looked up and said, "That's
what they call Him in Church, You know the prayer we say,
"Our Father, who art in Heaven, Harold be Thy name."
A little boy's prayer. "Dear God, please take care of my daddy,
mommy, sister, brother, my doggy and me. Oh, please take care of
yourself, God. If anything happens to you, we're gonna be in a big mess."
A woman invited some people to dinner. At the table, she turned to her
six-year-old daughter and said, "Would you like to say the blessing?"
I wouldn't know what to say," the little girl replied. "Just say what
you hear Mommy say, "the mother said. The little girl bowed her head
and said "Dear Lord, why on earth did I invite all these people to dinner?"

Happy Birthday Austin!
Happy Birthday Mom!
Laundry Room Makeover
Saturday I was in a painting mood for some reason so I decided I was tired of the white walls in the laundry room. I had bought some paint months and months ago to do this but you know how it is. If your not in the mood to paint then its just not gonna go well. I also painted the sink and shelf that is in there too. I'm quite proud if I may say so. I love the color! It makes the red curtains "pop". Now I have to tackle the dining room sometime, We'll see how long it takes me to get around to it!

Fireproof
I just got done reading the book fireproof and it was great! I recommend it to every married couple! In fact even if your not married it would be great to read! I think the "love dare" (you'll understand after watching the movie or reading the book) is something that we should apply to marriage even when things are "smooth sailing". I haven't seen the movie yet but I plan too very soon. I hope it is as good as the book. I put the fireproof poster on the blog so you can watch the trailer. You can also look at other material that goes along with the book and movie. Please go see this movie! I know it will be a blessing to you as it has been for me!
